Pulled out my old art school supplies and started painting again this weekend. I forgot how much I enjoy painting. One day I will perfect how to illuminate my dreams on the canvas.

I can’t stomach news shows. Since when did we stupefy our newscasters and journalists? Makes me think of “Hello, the pope is dead.” Why does the public accept this?

The news reported last night that “we have a pope”!? When did MSNBC and Fox become Catholics? I certainly do not care who the next pope is. He will have the same lists of don’ts as the last one, they are all the same. NO liberalism, no equality for women in the eyes of god, no relativism, no abortions, no contraceptives, no homosexual sex, and in the end the list of don’ts for heterosexual sex far out ways the no's for gays. Yet why do American Christians think they can pick and choose what they believe? A hetero blowjob is okay, but a gay blowjob is wrong. Aren’t they the same? Well abortion is bad, but contraception is okay. Since when is religion about picking the parts of the bible that you like? It’s all hypocrisy! And yet, these are the people brainwashing the public and running our country into the ground? Luckily I don’t believe everything they tell me. Unfortunately, it seems the majority of Americans eat it hook line and sinker.

CONSUME! As an amerikan you are born and raised to CONSUME! And when you consume too much, you demand more production. Instead of driving a gas efficient vehicle [like I do], or demanding SUVs to be more efficient, no instead amerika tells Saudi Arabia to produce more oil. Just like we consume more than we produce here in this country. So we import our food, our cheap products, and even workers for the shit cheap-paying jobs. Why should citizens be any different than the government? Amerika borrows and borrows and begs and borrows, then demands more cheap products… What a hypocracy. And in the end, we outsource labor. What next? Amazing long dole lines like Britain?

In the next 20 years the worlds population will double. In 10 years there will be 1 million more drivers in the state of Minnesota alone. Why are you still breeding?

Shouldn’t bitch, its FRIDAY and I don’t have to work tomorrow! I must work on the site some more this weekened. I’m excited to have scanned more work, and been making more scratches and brushes in Photoshop… So there will be new stuff on the site. Still waiting for my new Visa card so I can pay for a host… soon….

Ever have a photogasm? I know I’m not the only one.

Today while working I stumbled upon my favorite grain silo complex on the border of Minneapolis and St Paul. A destruction crew had begun to demolish the smaller of the three grain silos and I saw the phone number for the contractors company on their trailor. After composing myself I parked my work van and went through the open gate in the fence to actually ask who to contact to get permission. I got the guys name, immediately sent him an email and so far he says there’s a possibility I can get in legitamately. Oh man, I wont be able to sit still tonight. And the best part: they broke their crane and will not be able to demolish anymore for a few days. Meaning : I have time….. Oh man!!!

The possibilities. I have talked with the Summit brewing owner, photographed the Strohs brewery and other famous industrial complexes… If I just keep at it, I might have an impressive portfolio…. *fingers crossed*

Listening to the hum of my CD burner, I really need to clean off the computer.

I have been so busy these last 2 days!!! After getting permission from the demo crew to be on their property, I have been trespassing around other peoples properties also to get the shots I am now posting in the scarred landscapes portion of the site. I have been there morning noon and night for the last few days. I have been exhausted. Not exactly from the lack of sleep, but the complete adrenaline rushes I have been getting. I cannot explain how amazing it is to be in the presence of these old grain monster buildings, let alone as they are crumbling beneath the weight of a wrecking ball… I have been fascinated by them, and now must do some research on their history...
