April 2006

4/06/06 Thursday

Seems spring is finally here. Many people don’t understand that here in the frozen tundra the lakes are still not free of ice yet, but soon…. Soon.

4/07/06 Friday

Spent the day cleaning then went to visit some family. Nice calm day.

4/08/06 Saturday

Checked out the Juxtapoz show. Why was there no photography? Seems photography really is the bastard child of the art world. I want to be in that magazine one day, I am determined! I want to do more than WYSIWIG photography; I am really trying to create different realities.

Why do I bother still playing poker? I guess I’m lucky I only lost 10 bucks.

4/09/06 Sunday

Have you heard about the new Gospel of Judas? Basically it says that Judas was not the enemy of Jesus as many believe, seems Jesus wanted to be crucified and wanted Judas to help. Seems Jesus wanted to be a martyr.

4/10/06 Monday

Had my first real interview in a month. Sounded like an interesting job.

Seymour Hersch wrote an article saying according to military sources, the Bush administration is gearing up to attack Iran with Nuclear tactical bombs. Retaliation will be inevitable, and Iran will most likely bomb oil fields of friends of the US. You think 3$ a gallon will be bad, what if oil production is in short supply we could be looking at$7-10 a gallon.

4/11/06 Tuesday

Watched an interesting special on the Da Vinci Code book. Seems in the end, there is no evidence that Jesus and Mary Magellan were married and had kids; the more important question is why did the church downplay the role of Mary in Jesus’ life? Seems she could have been the thirteenth apostle, yet the church being so afraid of women downplayed her role and focused more on the Virgin Mary. And hence even today women are second class citizens only supposedly on this earth to serve man as they serve god. Bullshit I tell you. It’s the Christian churches fault. Most other cultures revered women, but the Christians were too afraid of women.
