The abortion debate rears its ugly head again. I think its time to change the Pro-Choice name to Pro-Reproductive Rights. Pro-Lifers want more than just abortion being illegal; they do not want any contraceptives at all. Of course, men make those decisions, not women. A man can get a woman pregnant and walk away, and whose problem is it in the end? Keep your laws off my body. |
2/02/06 Thursday We got the news that Mel and I got into the Art of Sin show in Minneapolis. There is a bit of controversy between Melanie and me though. I cannot believe all 8 of my pieces got accepted, I think there is another wave of judging after the work is physically turned in. I can’t imagine they have room for all 8 of my pieces. Melanie gets so mad at me because I am not confident enough in my own ability. She says maybe I am just that amazing that all 8 pieces got in, I doubt it. Now I have to frame 8 pieces, I didn’t think they would all get in, so I didn’t think I would be spending 300-400 dollars on framing when I am flat broke… I guess I shouldn’t be complaining, I should be happy I got into the show. |
A dinner date, and then I passed out from exhaustion. It was a stressful week at work. Some days I want to run away…. |
2/04/06 Saturday Sent off the first order from MagickTheatre.com. Melanie and I went out for lunch to celebrate. We hope our business continues to grow. Another boring Saturday night at home. |
2/05/06 Sunday I completely forgot about my Daily Photo page. I started to design it awhile ago, then got caught up in the Magick Theatre thing. Don’t you have it when your computer monitor changes colors? Mine goes from turquoise to magenta every once in awhile… Damn computer. |
2/08/06 Wednesday Ever wonder why it’s okay for girls to dress like boys, but it’s such a taboo for boys to dress like girls. Why is that? A carton has caused disrupt amongst the Muslim people. What I want to know is where did they get all the Danish flags to burn? Rioting across the Middle East with an abundance of Danish flags. It makes no sense. Is the lead up to a new World War between Christians and Muslims? I want no part of it. |
2/09/06 Thursday I just do not understand why we impeached a president for lying about a blowjob, but its okay for a president to lie us into war, and now lie about wire tapping. The whole administration is corrupt, and nothing is being done. Their corruption is ruining America’s stability and power. We are a joke within the global community, seen as only consumers. We import more than we export and all of our jobs are being outsourced. Aren’t people worried? It can’t be just me. |
2/10/06 Friday First my car wouldn’t start, that should have been the first
sign of impending doom. But I got it started and went to work. But at
the storage unit I realized I had a flat. After work Jeremy came to
my rescue to help with the spare, since I had no tools in the car. Thanks
Saturn. |
2/11/06 Saturday Went gallery hopping. Loved the D Witt poster art. What talent. Went to a friends and my car died on the way back. Damnit. I had a new battery put in the day before. WTF? Why do I have such problem with power sources? First it was my computers power supply, then it was my professional photo strobes power supply, then it was my cameras LCD monitor, now my car battery. Its like I give off bad energy and blow electrical things power supply….. Damn |
2/14/06 Tuesday What is Valentines Day? A day we are supposed to spend money on our
beloved to show them how much we care? No, I do not believe in that.
This year yet again I did the anti-valentines day. I spent 2 dollars
on a pack of heart shaped stickies and wrote little messages on them
[some ridiculous like ‘sweettards” or “boobs”]
and filled the house with all 200+. |
2/17/06 Friday Been bumming around. Almost finished framing my Art of Sin work. Only have 2 left to go. They look fabulous. Even better then expected!! |
2/18/06 Saturday A friend came over to borrow some of my moving boxes since he just bought a house and knows Ive moved all over the place. I’ve kept my stash since its 8 years worth of boxes. I started pulling down boxes and he was making fun of the stuff written on my boxes like “Petticoats” and “Devils Masks”. heheheh. I told him that was nothing, next time he comes over I will make sure to pull out the boxes that say “Dildo Collection” and “Gimp mask and Whips”. Heh heh. That shut him up pretty fast! Dinner, a date and a movie. Got in a bit of Grand Theft Auto before
passing out. Exciting sub zero Saturday night. |
2/19/06 Sunday Was dragged to see Staind by my best friend. If it had been anyone
else, I would have never gone, but I went for her. The club is a new
club in the semi suburbs of Saint Paul called the Myth. It looks way
cool on the inside and turned out to be super nice inside. Unfortunately
it holds 3500 people and was not designed for everyone to see. The sound
was pretty good, except the bands sucked. Melanie and I hung in the
back upstairs making friends while the bands played on. The jock and
blonde crowd got drunker and drunker and by the time Staind came on
we witnessed a few blonde fights and realized that we needed to get
out of there…. Next time, I am in charge of what concert we go
to. Hee hee. Love ya Mel! |
2/20/06 Monday Ive been so slack on my journal lately. I don’t know. Maybe it’s the cold weather. I just don’t feel like doing much. So much for Presidents Day. Its kinda funny it as first a celebration
of Washignton, then Lincoln came along,and now a days it encompasses
all presidens? What a joke. Our current president does not deserve and
praise. |
